MISA Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a major national initiative: the Canadian Mine Decarbonization Initiative. This remote position offers a unique opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the technological and sustainable transformation of the mining sector while joining a highly collaborative and purpose-driven team.
Since its inception, MISA Group has worked to accelerate the development of innovative technological solutions that address concrete challenges in the mining industry. The National Mine Decarbonization Initiative is part of a broader effort to reduce greenhouse gas emissions across Canada and strengthen the country’s mining innovation ecosystem.
Project Leadership
Oversee coordination, budgeting, scheduling, and partner engagement
Apply and promote MISA Group’s Martini Method (ideation, planning, execution)
Guide stakeholders through each phase of their innovation projects
Stakeholder Engagement
Work collaboratively with mining companies, SMEs, research centres, universities, and associations
Identify and support high-potential innovation projects
Facilitate alignment around industry priorities
Ecosystem Development
Represent MISA Group on national platforms and at industry events
Support commercialization and outreach of mining technologies
Help organize and deliver programming and content for strategic initiatives

Required Qualifications
6 to 7 years of experience in project management
Excellent communication skills in both French and English (written and spoken)
University degree or equivalent relevant experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital tools
Strong analytical thinking, initiative, and attention to detail
Assets
Experience facilitating groups or events
Proven ability to develop strategic partnerships
Skills in storytelling and public presentation
Familiarity with the mining sector
Permanent remote position, with occasional travel within Canada
37.5-hour work week with flexible scheduling
