Expert in communications and public relations since 20 years, Karine Lacroix began her career in journalism, before conducting international missions as a counsellor in communications and recruiting for mining training programs of the Cégep de l’Abitibi-Témiscamingue. Having a bachelor’s degree in interactive multimedia and a master’s degree in communications, she developed an expertise in public and governmental expertise in strategic communications addressing emerging approaches and research about tendencies in mining education. Her mandate at the National Institute for Mines consists in coordinating the broadcasting of official publications in addition to complete the gathering of information surveillance about concerned research work, as well as the editorial of the MineAvenir newsletter.
