Groupe MISA is proud to present its submission as part of the 2025-2026 pre-budget consultations, addressed to Mr. Eric Girard, Quebec’s Minister of Finance. This submission reflects our ongoing commitment to advancing mining innovation in Quebec and supporting the sector’s sustainable transformation.

The Vortex Path – Chapter 2: A Structuring Proposal for Quebec’s Mining Sector

At the heart of our submission is the Vortex Path – Chapter 2, an ambitious initiative designed to meet the challenges and seize the opportunities tied to digital transformation and the decarbonization of the mining sector.

Key highlights of the project include:

• $75 million in investments over 36 months
• 40% public funding ($30 million) and 60% private funding ($45 million)
• 50 to 55 innovative projects led by Quebec-based SMEs in the mineral sector

This program aims to accelerate the adoption of cutting-edge technologies, strengthen the competitiveness of Quebec’s SMEs, and contribute to the province’s environmental goals.
