MISA Group’s Experts Networks are one of the most powerful pillars of Quebec’s mining innovation ecosystem. Comprising nearly 200 experts drawn exclusively from mining and exploration companies, these networks dedicate over 1,000 hours annually to the evaluation and prioritization of technological projects.
Organized around eight key themes — Exploration, Extraction, Mineral Processing, Mine Environment, Maintenance, Control Room, Digital Technologies, and Best Practices — these communities of practice ensure strategic monitoring, real-world knowledge sharing, and rigorous innovation validation.
The next meeting of the Exploration Experts Network will take place online on June 26, 2025. Register here: https://bit.ly/4dqlXTn

Dumont Nickel is a Quebec-based critical minerals company focused on extracting nickel and cobalt for electric vehicle battery production and the broader energy transition. Dumont is one of the world’s largest fully permitted, shovel-ready nickel sulphide deposits. Once operational, Dumont will be able to supply enough nickel to power up to 840,000 electric vehicles annually through 2058.
The AEMQ is committed to fostering innovation in mineral exploration. By supporting the development of new tools and technological approaches, the AEMQ helps improve geological knowledge acquisition—ultimately increasing explorers’ ability to make new discoveries. MISA Group is a natural and strategic partner in advancing these innovations.
