MISA Group at Québec Mine + Énergie

Driving Mining Innovation Forward

Groupe MISA is proud to announce its participation at Québec Mine + Énergie, a key event for mining industry professionals and innovators. This year, we’re highlighting three of our pillars: Parcours Vortex, Mine Autonome, and Réseaux d’Experts. Here’s a look at our contributions for this edition.

1. Interactive Workshop: Gathering Quebec Mining Operators in Solution Mode

Groupe MISA will host an interactive workshop bringing Quebec mining operators together in a unique solution-focused setting. This workshop will address key challenges such as:

  • High turnover of mobile mechanics, impacting maintenance and efficiency
  • Cross-sector collaboration to build a successful culture of optimization
  • Metal debris from ore causing breaks in the plant feed system, leading to frequent production stoppages
  • Access to and reliability of energy sources
  • Interdepartmental communication, hybrid work, and resource shortages
  • Carbon impact reduction and project acceptance
  • Energy-related challenges
  • Water management and ramp quality
  • Long-term operational impact of maintenance best practices, and resulting operational delays

📅 Date: November 20, 2024, from 8 a.m. to noon (breakfast included) – SOLD OUT

This “solution-focused” workshop offers a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas, share insights, and develop innovative solutions to optimize mining practices. Participation is open to mining operators from MISA’s Réseau d’Experts and national collaborators. Spaces are limited, and a $70 fee will apply for selected participants.
