Seating as an expert for the Canadian Mining Innovation Network representative
CEO, COREM

Mr. Fournier works in the natural resources field since over 25 years. In 2018, he joined COREM, the largest research and expertise centre in mineral treatment in Canada, as the president director-general. Initially a forestry engineer, he was in managing and direction positions in innovation at FPInnovations for over 10 years.

Francis Fournier considers that collaboration is a main pillar in the field of innovation. His experiences as research director, director for members relations, supervisor to the Quebec government relations, laboratory director, then vice-president associate to strategic partnerships led him to create a national vision for collaboration with provincial governments and research partners. It is through this approach that he works on different executive boards, among others on QuébecInnove since 2015 and Prima Québec since 2018.
